This is a collection of correspondence, letters of appointment to various honours, press cuttings, publications, etc. relating to the life and work of Sir George Bowen. Included are two long letters to Sir Hercules Robinson. In the first Bowen describes in detail conditions in Queensland and his work as Governor, and in the second he describes his position as Governor in New Zealand.
